March 22, 2011: A message from Steph Morgan: Danny is the ecologist/photographer that was on my Arctic trip. He hosted an online session for EBus students around B.C.. The EBus academy is a BC public school that provides online education for children and adults. He first got connected with EBus as a volunteer for the Scientists and Innovators in the Schools program that is coordinated by Science World in Vancouver.
The tool he used to do this presentation is called Elluminate Live. It was a great way to connect a large group of interested people (they signed on from around the world). So how can we tell stories about places that not everyone can visit? Use tools like this!
Here is the link to Danny’s Elluminate Live online session on his Arctic adventures.
